Norhan Mohamed is the General Manager of the Egypt office for Worldwide Logistics Group, the global freight forwarding and logistics company headquartered in New Jersey, USA. She leads the company’s operations in Cairo, overseeing business development, customer service, and the expansion of logistics services across Egypt and the wider North African region.
Mohamed was appointed to lead the newly established Egypt branch when Worldwide Logistics Group opened an office in New Cairo in March 2022 as part of the company’s strategic growth plan into Africa. The Cairo office became the group’s 25th global branch, positioned strategically near Cairo International Airport and within close proximity to the nation’s major seaports, including Port Said, Damietta, and Alexandria.
Before joining Worldwide Logistics Group, Mohamed had built more than 15 years of experience in logistics and project management with leading firms in Egypt. Her earlier work included operational roles focused on air and ocean transport, making her well‑versed in freight operations, customer relations, and supply chain coordination.
In her role as General Manager, Mohamed has been responsible for setting up and scaling the company’s service offerings in Egypt, which include air freight, sea freight, e‑commerce logistics, project cargo, and cross‑trade services to support both local exporters and multinational firms operating in the region. Her leadership has been central to embedding Worldwide Logistics Group’s global standards of service and operational excellence in the Egyptian market.
Mohamed’s work reflects Egypt’s strategic importance as a logistics gateway linking Africa, Europe, and Asia, particularly due to the Suez Canal’s role as one of the world’s busiest shipping routes. Her experience and leadership have helped position the Cairo office as a key node in the company’s international network.
