The Awards nomination process is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and credibility. Organizations or individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by peers, clients, or partners. Nominations are reviewed by the GIC Advisory Board and a panel of industry experts, and evaluation criteria include demonstrated leadership and strategic impact, innovation and adoption of best practices, measurable operational and business results, contribution to sustainability and ethical practices, and influence on industry development and professional standards. All nominations are kept confidential, and winners are selected based on merit, verified accomplishments, and alignment with the Council’s mission.

Award winners are announced and celebrated during the Global Intermodal Council Annual Conference or designated regional ceremonies.
