Joe Monaghan is the founder and chairman of Worldwide Logistics Group (WWL), a privately held, full-service logistics and freight forwarding company headquartered in Paramus, New Jersey. With over 40 years of experience in international logistics, Monaghan has built WWL into a global network that serves thousands of clients across more than 100 countries.

Before founding WWL in 1998, Monaghan spent a decade as Executive Director of International at Fritz Companies, Inc., managing over 1,000 employees in 25 countries. He also held executive roles with Geo Logistics and OOCL, gaining deep operational expertise in air, ocean, and land freight management. He is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and pursued postgraduate studies at the University of New Hampshire.

Under his leadership, Worldwide Logistics Group expanded from a regional freight operation into a multi-continental enterprise offering air and ocean freight, road transport, warehousing, customs brokerage, e-commerce logistics, and project cargo services. The company now operates over 30 global offices, employs thousands, and handles millions of shipments annually, reflecting Monaghan’s focus on integrated, end-to-end supply chain solutions.
