The Global Intermodal Council Institute® (GICI®) is governed by a robust framework that ensures integrity, transparency, and consistency in the awarding and maintenance of its professional designations. Governance and assessment standards protect the credibility of MGICI® and FGICI®, uphold ethical conduct, and ensure recognition is granted to individuals who demonstrate genuine professional competence and leadership in the global intermodal logistics ecosystem.

Assessment Workflow

+Candidate submits application (MGICI®) or nomination (FGICI®) along with supporting documentation. Non-refundable application fee applies.

+Certification and Admissions Committee conducts preliminary eligibility review.

+Comprehensive assessment and peer review conducted, including verification of qualifications, experience, and references.

+Committee recommends approval or rejection to the Governing Council.

+Successful candidates pay one-time certification fee and receive official credentials.

+Annual membership fee maintains active certification status and access to Institute privileges.
